Ok, since I gloated about my prediction being right. I thought I would give Jimmy his due. I thought it was the biggest joke of the year when he picked the Bruins to represent the south in the Pac-12 championship. Now, I still think UCLA is a crap mediocre team, they just happened to be the best of the eligible teams in a pilllow fight division. The point is, UCLA is going, Jimmy was right. Now Jimmy, reply to this thread and I'll give you your due rep.
 
Agreed, didn't agree with him then at all, but gotta give him his due. Speaking of which, you said we'd go 2-1 at worst to close out the season, rep incoming.

Well...jimmy screwed up the college fantasy league by not setting the games for this week. Of course, CBS blows, but still.....
 
USC will own this division until someone gets their **** together, even then it'll always be difficult I imagine to overtake them. UCLA has the athletes, but Neu sucks. ASU and Zona to get new HCs. UCLA probably won't get rid of theirs. Embree is still pretty green and we don't have the talent to match up with UCLA, ASU and USC.

I'm not buying that yet. They are just now starting the scholarship reductions of 10 a year for the next 3 years. That is going to cost them big time.
 
I predicted UCLA would win the South on the Ducks board and was banned 1 week for that prediction lol..... Nice to know I am not the only insane person here!

They always have, and it's always been coaching, with UCLA too cheap to pony up for a real one... Hopefully RN gets awhile longer....

Well it also might have been because I called the moderator over sensitive since I disagreed with his flaming of every view opposing his lol. Like I said there is a reason I like this board more then my fellow Duck boards.

Over sensitive? Only way to cure that is keep rubbing it on the reg so it starts getting a little numb.

Dude! I'm always schooling the mods on how it is. Usually our mods admit their wrong and then rep you. Try it.

Generally speaking Mods are often indicative of a fan base. I don't know Cheswick but I do know the eDuck Mods are extremely oversensitive, even worse than hormone filled high school gals... at least it's their reputation.

Not sure your age CD but you're definitely one of the better Oregon fans... most are unbearable.

It is going to hurt. Make no doubt, but they sit at #15 in Rivals with 9 4* recruits. They'll need bodies, but aren't going to hurt for talent. The division is going to be up for grabs and someone needs to establish that they will be a pita for usc. USC is just one of those schools that has a lot of advantages that other schools, especially in the South, would love. They are private so they can admit anyone. Good reputation, not elite, but good. In LA so parents can always see as well as buddies. Great tradition. I mean we were #4-5 or so in the Big12 (UT/OU, NU, aTm we were roughly on par with) in terms of tradition. $$$$ and one of the larger stadiums in the Pac12, even though their fanbase is very fair weather.

Embree and Co should be able to make an impact, but USC is going to be tough. Hopefully they become our true rival in the south.

I am 21 so technically I should be part of the very annoying Duck fan base. I love my Ducks, but I never could figure out why people have to be such douchebags instead of just being a fan.

Very true. For example, Colorado has the greatest fans in the known universe. Obviously this supports your premise... :nod:

Thank u. UCLA is best of a weak division. Slick Rick will probably be gone after this year with the blowouts. Still think even with their crappy QB and weak WR's, UCLA has the best talent 1 thru 85 in the South (outside of USC of course)

Actually USC is the best of a weak division but I get what you're saying.
 
Does anybody else wonder why Candada Duck is an UofO fan? He's not from there, he doesn't really like the fans and isn't appreciated on the UofO board on which he posts.

How do The University of Colorado Buffaloes sound to you, young man?
