Utes have a great O-Line and Joe Williams is pretty darn fast.

If you are responsible for the game plan what are you going to do?

Maintain gap integrity? Sometimes easier said than done.

Put a spy on Williams? Potential for creating other mismatches?

I'm not too worried about Utes passing game.

Thoughts?

I don't think we'll see much nickel this week. That is, not until the Buffs have rolled to a substantial lead and Utah becomes a desperate one-dimensional passing team.

Never fails me.

Unlikely they will have success in the passing game with our secondary. I'm thinking Williams will get some yards, but the D will be all about stopping the big play.

Their WRs are very tall and lanky, saw them make some plays vs UW who were all in on the run and got burned a couple times. Their QB was less than accurate though, and didn't run as much as I though he would. Obvious-lee we have to key on Williams but can't let their WRs or TE loose. Their OL isn't as good as Wazzu I don't think? They are on their 3rd center. Their STs are usually top notch and can make some difference.

Do what Oregon did. Keeping our QB standing and healthy is the key this week. Their D Line has NFL size and talent with several guys.

If oregon can hold them to 28 points in utah, I think our defense can do better than that. Force their qb to make plays.
