Joel Klatt

I think Klatt's a pretty good color guy. He's going to end up being very good at that job as he learns to pick his spots better.

I agree. He's really not a bad color guy. He's even developed as a studio guy.

He's still a giant dildo, though. And I'm not sure when he also had time to start this thread... :huh:
 
If only Joel had better receivers to throw to than Dusty Sprague, he would be tearing it up in the pros.

After that comment I lost all respect for him.
 
Klatt is a great Buff and an outstanding person. I'd walk a mile for JK before I'd move an inch for most of the peons that post here.
 
I can always pull out Joel's 70-3 game. I don't have the Nebraska game before that, though, nor the Iowa State game before that.

I don't hate you, you idot. I don't even hate Klatt, really. He made a conscious effort to look impartial by going too far the other way. But jokes on us. It's paying off for him.

Despite his revisionist history he was very strongly behind the Embree hire.

When Embree was fired he took it personally and went on the attack against the university and especially Greg Bohn. He publicly called Bohn a liar and claimed that Bohn failed to keep his promises to Embree and to those who supported him. When asked for details his only response was to again trash CU and Bohn and repeat that "eventually the truth will come out."

Yeah he was over the top with the Embree firing, but I can mostly give him a pass because he was finally letting the masses know that the problems with CU football are much bigger than just the coach.

His comments about Sprague were just flat out douche. He made it sound like he was some world class QB that had no talent around him.

He's certainly establishing himself with Fox. They've got him doing college football pre-game, college football color, NFL pre-game, and NFL updates during games.
