Jordan Webb named as starter - Confirmed

I though Webb was from Missouri (I know he played for Kansas) - but whatever
 
I think that is probably what he is saying. And I maintain that Wood = Weisinger, and Webb = Moschetti as far as historical comparisons go.
 
I like it. Start the season with a QB with experience and get the other guy in for a few meaningful series first 2-3 games along with any mop up duty (the good kind).
 
Hmmm. Interesting. Can't think of anything else he could be alluding to other than Webb being the starter. It'll be interesting to hear what he says if asked by the media what the tweet means. Have to say I'd be surprised if Webb could take the starting spot that quickly.
 
The tweet is obviously a reference to Kansas. I am guessing we just got a commit from Dorothy...and maybe Toto too.

If these two guys are in fact as close as many think, I would love to see the backup get several drives once we are up by more than two scores. With some luck, we should see the backup for the entire 4th quarter.
 
1. If this is the way he's announcing the starter, like a tweet from a freshman girl in Darly North trying to make her boyfriend jealous, I'm not impressed.

2. Maybe he's saying "we're not in Kansas anymore", ergo, nothing from Kansas is any long part of this picture.

Caveat - I'm not saying I don't want Webb to start. I'm also not saying I want him to.
