Josh Moten out for the year

Old news. Was there finally a release? I was surprised to not see him listed as injured on the updated depth chart. He hasn't played much but was apparently gonna start at Safety

Karma to Josh.

Is this public now? I don't like to post on the free board about injuries until it's "official".

Achilles may be the one thing worse than an ACL. At some point (from a fan's perspective) it is all the same.

Trust me...Microfracture is worse than ACL. Far worse. Might be worse than Achilles, but I don't have a personal comparison on that one.

We have seen more and more guys come back from ACL and play in recent years, AP last year in the NFL, PRich for us this year is supposively pretty close to 100%.

Of the top of my head I can't think of many who have come back from the achilles without a long rehab period and it seems like a lot of them don't come back close to fully.

The microfracture just sounds like something I don't even want to get close to. I know that Kenyon Martin had it on both knees and is still playing in the NBA but others have it and just kind of dissapear. I have also heard that if you have it you are almost guaranteed of needing a knee replacement not to long down the road.

As bad as all of these are I'd still rather have them then to have long lasting or permanent concussion issues like Ted Johnson. Hard to live life if your head isn't right.

Don't get me started on microfracture. had it done in my ankle last Sept. It's still weak and sore all the time and I am pretty sure I'll never be the athletic guy I once was...

I'm comforted to know that Snow will be on the scene with his business card in hand if a doctor performs microfracture surgery on Moten's Achilles.
