No, I saw some of their game this past weekend. They lost to Baylor 45-0 and Baylor tried to keep the score down. That isn't overly embarassing since Baylor can do that to a lot of schools with their speed.

This past weekend they lost to North Texas 43-6 in a game that wasn't that close.

Jones has had a lot of success over the years but it isn't working right now. SMU still has a lot of boosters who swing big enough dicks to not let this continue the way it is.
 
As an SMU grad, I am a bit happy, and a bit concerned. June helped us get to 4 bowl games in 5 years, but the start of the season was bad.

He was like the lone gem on the WSU staff for awhile, went to ASU and then was at UCLA last I remember. Don't know how he found himself at SMU this year. Does Mora have any daughters that he may have hooked up with?

Recruiting Coordinator at ASU. Erickson got fired, so he took the RB Coach job at UCLA. Fired by Mora after last year (I guess the job he did with Franklin and then Jack wasn't acceptable?!?!), so June Jones snatched him up. He recruits mostly Texas and California.
 
La Russa was an assistant ST coach at SJSU. Give that man ST and cornerbacks or something and bring on the Broussard and a legit DL coach.
 
I don't think Broussard actually does much coaching but he recruits like crazy.

Of course from the looks of things Nienas doesn't do much of either so this would be a huge win.

I snipped this from an SB nation article. Woods refers to reporter from BruinsOnline FWIW. Not establishing a connection with Mixon might have been a good thing.
