all that really matters is the W over a ranked team. A blowout wouldn't have me crying in my beer.
 
In 2006 they came in and owned us and continued to do so for a decade. Time to end it now. Ten years from now I hope the series is near even.
 
explain to me again why a 5-1 team with wins over T Tech, UCLA, and Cal is a 13 pt dog tomorrow? are we that good?....i know ASU's D sucks and they won at home.

we beat Oregon who is 2-4.

i will take any kind of W tomorrow.

Two big things
Colorado is 6-0 vs the spread and asu's QB situation
 
We seem to have shored up defending the sweep play Michigan ran repeatedly in the second half. I hope so because that, turnovers and bad special teams play are the only things that can beat us tonight.

They have no wins over ranked teams and have 3 ok wins over TT, Cal, and UCLA, all at home. Nothing special there at all, and they needed 17 points in the 4th quarter to squeak by UTSA. Looking at their schedule they have 4 of their last 6 on the road with all their games much better competition (with the exception of Arizona) they'll finish no better than 7-5.

Uh, their pass defense sucks and they are down to an injured starter, at QB with only freshmen at back-up? Think CU last year w/o Sefo.

I look at it like the Michigan game as well. Michigan has excellent cover corners in Stribling and Lewis (who wasn't playing but still) and they had to get really ****ing creative with their blitz packages and their pressure because Sefo ate them alive whenever he read it. Once Montez came in, they just sent the house, which showed how much respect they gave Sefo. ASU doesn't have the corners, their all out blitz stuff has really only worked against an injured Rosen. Mahomes and TT made it a laughable video game numbers game. Webb was moving the ball at will as well until they went into press coverage and took away all of Cal's timing and screen plays.

This game might scare me in Tempe. Nothing to fear in Boulder.
