Kansas State gave up 195 yards on the ground to Colorado's Rodney Stewart last week.
On Saturday, North Texas running back Lance Dunbar is following in Stewart's footsteps.
His first five carries have gone for 162 yards and two touchdowns--a 52-yarder and a 63-yarder--and the Wildcats have fallen behind 20-7 after the first quarter in Denton, Texas.
Daniel Thomas has done what he can to equal Dunbar's efforts, running for 108 yards and a touchdown on his first 11 carries, but this game will come down to defenses. If Kansas State can't fix what's going wrong, Thomas can have as big of a day as he wants and the Wildcats still won't come home with a win.
