Kara Goucher to Receive Medal Upgrade

She's to get an upgrade from a Bronze to a silver for the 2007 World Championship Race due to doping by the current Silver medalist.

If I recall correctly (and I could probably google this if I felt like it), they took away the other competitor's medal a loooooong time ago. They told Kara for a looooooong time that she'd be getting the medal but it took her years to get it. They repeatedly promised her that she'd be getting the medal, but she had to really pester them for at least a couple of years to get it.

That is the way I remember it also. Kara deserves this and she campaigns against doping.
