After reading that article: He is from a total football family and likely has as much football savay as any kid his age (like Cody?). He's big and accorindg to G Pa is a good passer. It sounds like they blew off the recruiting companies and hence, no stars

I'm curious why no one else wants him. He seems to have some football in the family. Where are the other offers?
apparently his coach/dad didnt send out footage... he was all about stats... also heard he had offers unlv and a few others
his dad said hed rather have 10,000 yards than 4 to 5 stars

At least when you look at the NBA and NFL, bloodlines seem important. I'm optimistic
and OT - for the one person who might find this interesting: supposedly the "great" composers; Beethoven, Bach, etc were all inter-related and shared bloodlines. Theory being we will never have a proliferation of great composers again, becuase those bloodlines are gone. fwiw: I don't listen to classical music, but I learned this at Dear Old CU, and it seemed to illustrate my point.

there was nothing posted at this forum. I'm now aware that the recruiting forum needs to be checked. but, why bother to take a half-assed shot at a fellow Buff, rather than point out the fact there is a recruiting thread. One things about the Net, there are a lot of people who make themselves feel better by bashing at others (not that snowbuff's response was so bad)

Message boards are infested with fans from other rival schools at times, especially during football season.
During the offseason, there's a tendency to bash each other to keep our smack hands strong.
Think of this as wolf-pups tusseling in preparation for being cast out into the wild.
There's always room for buff fans spreading the good word.
And when an other buff fan starts a thread on the same subject, it's a sign of disrespect to start another one.
Shake it off and keep posting.
If you hadn't done this like 5 times already, I wouldna said anything. Now, toughen up there my man. The offseason is long, cold, and brutal. I fear you may not make it at this rate :lol:

I have no idea why he did not have offers but he is the type of QB that this staff wants. Sonny Detmer still runs several QB clinics down in Texas so having a pipeline into that is not all bad. Right now CU's QB situation is beyond bad from a numbers and depth situation. I think this staff wants to get some guys on the depth chart that can play the style of play they want.
The other thing is you know he has been well coached by his Grandfather.

No inside info, but doubtful. IMO, Dorman looks like a player. If he was coached by gramps, and has any sort of ability, my guess is we will all be pleasantly surprised.

Heard Embree on Klatt & CJ today. He said the qb coach has been hired, but the coach is still wrapping up with his nfl team. He didn't elaborate any further.
