West Virginia (16-8) and Syracuse (20-6) just tipped off on ESPN. We need the Cuse here.

It would also give CU a small RPI bump if Citadel (9-17) could win at home against Savannah State (7-18)... MD-Eastern Shore (6-18) could win at Bethune-Cookman (14-11)... Alcorn State (3-19) could win at AR-Pine Bluff (5-19).

But the big game of the night is KU at KSU. KSU's resume gets way too strong if it beats Kansas. But probably not strong enough to make our wins look really special. We need Kansas to take care of business in this one. Tips off at 7pm Mountain Time on ESPN.
 
History says KU wins in Manhattan. what, KSU has beaten KU at "the Fred" like once or twice ever in the history of the building? and that W was in the last 3-4 years. before that, never. one of the saddest sports streaks around....going winless against your in-state rival in your "new" building....and then your "not so new any more" building and on...

Edit: And what a ridiculous bailout. Defender is just standing there following the play, Pullen jumps into him and they give him 2 FTs.

P.S. It also pissed me off to read KSU fans thinking the refs jobbed them against us on Saturday. They shot like a dozen more FTs than us... on the road. We had 4 guys with 4 fouls called on them when there were still 8 1/2 minutes left in the game. **** them.
 
Yep last night was 27 fouls to 20 in favor of the pussy cats.

I do love that stat though...

Key Losses: Colorado (2x), Oklahoma State.

Knight needs to give Pullen his valentine's day hug and stop praising him every chance he gets to open his mouth..

i think Musberger has really lost it in the last year or two. i never liked him much, but he just stumbles through stuff these days.
 
The more I see of how pullen plays the more I really really don't like him. I hope his flopper *** gets put in the NIT and he pouts the whole tournament.

I still like him for football. He was never one of my favorites for basketball. Gus Johnson's the best, but I like Sean McDonough and Dan Shulman too.

Pullen does have 22 in the first half.

annoys me when a ref makes a call for the home team and seems to enjoy adding an extra flourish. as HE's is playing off the crowd.
 
Do they always do this camera on the coaches thing or only when Douchebag McGee is coaching?
 
Considering how poorly Kansas seems to be covering Pullen and how many points he is putting up. Any chance that Burks or Higgins... or both are up for big games??
 
Citadel loses by 4 in OT
MDES is down 35 with 4min left in the game... gonna say thats a loss also.

If KU loses...they are gonna be playing angry in the Phog on Saturday and I'm not liking our chances in that situation...even if we play decent we'll still probably get clobbered as they take out their frustrations on us...

Probably right. They do not look good tonight though especially against a team that WE beat twice.

Yep. And MD-Eastern Shore also proved how bad they suck, losing to Bethune Cookman College by 36.

Looks like Alcorn State may get a road win tonight, though. Up 11 on AR-Pine Bluff at halftime. Any time one of those teams gets a win it's a minor miracle that give a small bonus to our RPI.

They lost the game before they played us last time too. Weird.

Yep. That would be ridiculously unlucky if we caught KU immediately after its only 2 losses of the season.
 
I dont know if its the kid that isnt playing because of the knee thing or what but KU doesn't look like the dominant team they should be.
