Larry Scott considers PAC12 games on Sundays if no NFL season this year.

They can do a PAC:12 game of the week and play it on Sunday. that would be absolutely dirty. Let me make a schedule up for him

Just don't put our season finale at Utah on Sunday. The Sunday liquor laws in Utah will make it difficult for traveling Buff fans to tie one on before the game and CU fans need to be in full a**hole mode for our first game against our new rival.

Too many u$c games on that proposal. I don't care if their game that week is a prime match-up -- that shady institution shouldn't get that much attention, imo.

I hope if the NFL doesn't play on Sundays that no one plays on Sundays. It would be nice to be free from my football shackles for Sundays throughout the fall.

:wtf: :ban:

go sit in a corner somewhere....

Careful. That kind of thinking is dangerous. Next thing you know you'll find yourself obsessing over Dancing with the Stars.

absolutely agree, but this is about getting eyeballs to the PAC:12 and USC is the premier school.

Colorado at Ohio State
That's a road game. The Big Ten owns the TV rights. I haven't been following the OSU trouble very closely. Isn't there still a possibility that they'll be banned from TV anyway?

Thurs., Oct. 6
California at Oregon

Sat., Oct. 8
Arizona at Oregon State
Arizona State at Utah
Washington State at UCLA
Colorado at Stanford

They wouldn't give up the Thursday slot. CU at Stanford would get decent ratings. People want to see Andrew Luck.

Sat., Oct. 22
Utah at California
Washington at Stanford
Oregon at Colorado
Oregon State at Washington State
USC at Notre Dame

USC at ND belongs to NBC. Oregon at CU would have a shot if we're doing better than expected at this point. Utah at Cal and Washington at Stanford would also be in the mix.

I don't think this is likely to happen. Sounded to me like Scott was just refusing to absolutely rule it out (and why should he) and that became "Pac 12 might play on Sundays next season" in the service of the story.

Once they start this train down the tracks, those games will HAVE to be on Sunday, even if the NFL makes a deal with the players partway through the season and those games start up again. That would put the PAC (and any other conference that did it) in a bad spot.
