Late Hit On Montez Not Called

CU's second to last drive and it's third down and Montez scrambles out of trouble yet again. He ends up throwing the ball away and CU settles for a FG. Didn't anybody else notice the late hit on Montez that wasn't called ?? Mike Mac was right there yelling at the officials but the flag was never thrown. Buffs would have been half the distance to the goal and a first down. So many what ifs last night.

Yup I mentioned it in the game thread an hour ago, I saw a couple targeting calls on him in the second half that went uncalled. Obviously they weren't malicious but they were helmet to helmet.

This is one area where the NFL does a better job. Once guys started losing game checks for it, you don't see that kind of head hunting on punts, after INTs, at the end of plays, etc.
