Leavitt to KState?

Like someone said in the replies (who is a K-State beat writer), I'm pretty sure they didn't even want him as a DC and won't happen with their current AD.

Anything can happen. Why worry about it until he interviews? We can't really stop him anyway if he wants to go. It would suck, but it's nice to at least have ACs mentioned for HC jobs.

I believe Leavitt will get looks, but not at KSU. He's been gone too long and Snyder will keep it in the family this time. If not his son right away, one of his mature coordinators.

If we're really in danger of losing Leavitt, a name to keep in mind is Randy Edsall (his son's a GA right now).

Do people really think he would take the job if MM was fired? Isn't his connection to the program MM, not RG like many believe?

I get there are only so many jobs, but I don't get why everyone's dick is so hard for Levitt. The D is playing better (takeaways), but 3rd down conversion rate isn't great. He is recruiting better than Baer.

I like him. But I wouldn't hand over the keys to him no questions asked.

This might be the most CU thing ever. A school that would rationally consider firing it's HC, to hire it's defensive coordinator. I almost want to see it happen so we can really hit rock bottom, and we can finally exercise all the stupid out of our fanbase and administration.

The speculation is so rampant. It's so unreal. Levitt was hired with the sole intent to be given the job.

RG will personally fire and hire ACs.

Holy ****balls batman, I'm glad the fans don't run the AD.

I hope to god all that chatter starts and ends with a site that rhymes with sh*tscoop. If anybody in the AD has this type of logic, that's disconcerting.

To be fair, could the football team have been much worse over the last 10 years if the fans WERE running the AD?

If you would say that "fans" = "boosters", then we are responsible for the Fairbanks and Embree hires.

The whole case for Mike is one good year at SJSU. If you get hard for Mike, your dick should explode over JL. He built a power out of nothing. Have a conversation with Mike and then a conversation with JL, and see which one gets you fired up.

Loosing Leavitt would be terrible. I agree with the above poster. RG should bring MM in and ask for a plan, and put him on an action plan for this next year. No excuses. If we keep losing, your gone. I would bring Leavitt in and 1st ask if he would be interested in taking the program over, if so? see what his plan would be. By listening to both men, it would clear some unknowns up. If MM is gone after next year ( he is getting 1 more year ) ? Leavitt would be my #1 target. That being said - If we lose Leavitt to ksu that would be a blow.

I don't think bringing them both in to talk is a bad idea. Sad truth is you win or pack your bags. Whoever can do that is who I want coaching.

I feel like RG already knows MM's plan. If he didn't have it four weeks into his job, he isn't the manager or leader we thought.

If the whole case for MM is only one year, why is the case for JL his entire tenure at UCF? Pretty sure the case for MM is/was all 3 years at SJSU and the fact that he took them from the worst program in the country to top 25, not just one good year.
