No worries that was funny how they both came up at almost exactly the same time
 
Pretty much the dumbest thing I've ever seen for a conference along with their super vanilla new logo which an absolute eyesore compared to the new Pac 12 one. Thanks Big 10 for one extra recruiting advantage, however small.

Can we assume that Michigan will fall under the "legend" rather than the "leader" division?

That is so bad it's fantastic. Even their commish sounds apologetic. Is the conference trying out for a spot on Celebrity Apprentice? Awful.

Seriously, I thought the logo was a joke when I saw it. Talk about a difference!

Edit: Well, a nebraska grad came up with the new names... maybe the same came up with the logo? :lol:

Why didn't they even hide a "12" with "Big Ten" like they did with 11 after Penn State joined? That looks like an ABA logo or something
 
I was listening to the Scott Van Pelt show with Ryen Russillo and they had the comment, if "Legends and Leaders" are the names that they choose, how bad did the names that they didn't choose have to be.
 
Big Ten Divisions named "Legends" and "Leaders"...

The Big Ten today announced the remaining aspects of its expansion and move to football divisions today, including its division names, 18 new trophies and a new logo.

The new Big Ten division names are Legends and Leaders, the conference announced on the Big Ten Network.

Wow, that sounds...interesting. And because it's particularly slow here on AB, what kind of names would you suggest for our future conference?

one division: CU, UU, USC, UCLA, ASU, UA
the other: WSU, UW, OU, OSU, Stanford, Cal

if you see anything funny, rep it.

oh, and if this thread doesn't take off, **** all of you. this is a nice diversion from studying.

As an aside, ASU wins this hands down. Their tempe12 girls and other such pics showed up on every search :lol:. Plus, CU needs to step it up, the Colorado search doesn't turn up much girls at all, neither bad nor hot.

Judging from h-mark's av he probably designed that stellar Big 10 logo. Nice work, markymark.
