We need to have discussions with Hawaii's AD about dropping football. Window has passed. We are KState circa 1986. Virginia circa 1976.

Actually - CU would probably do well to take a look at what Snyder has done at KSU. He's scheduled a bunch of cupcakes, built a top notch defense, and offensively, the Cats have a run-centric offense with a dual threat QB.

i agree the only way we pull out of this is get a bunch of top notch Jucos in here by hook or crook.
............and load the team with Jucos.
I think it is more like football purgatory. We are bring purged of our football sins.

I would be more outraged except I've seen this same thing play out more years than I thought possible and now accept it with a "Well, we're sh*t again." Start the season in this horrible game by having a decent but lackluster opening half in which the Buffs trot out superior talent on paper and manage to get a lead. Cue the 2nd half when CSU adjusts and turns into All-Americans to come back and boat race us while we have zero answer for it.
We have so much to lose by scheduling this game, but at least some people can excuse it saying it was a rivalry rather than have us choose a different MW or MAC opponent to lose to every other year as a season opener. I guess if we're going to get worked by a mid-major to start the year I'll take CSU over the other possible matchups.

But, we're academically aligned with all these Pac-12 institutions, we can't start letting in all these JUCO players!
