I'm a big fan of his and really liked his work the first two games, but today was a disaster. He was way too conservative on third down and didn't do nearly enough to get Wood comfortable. More zone reads and screens also. Just a bad job overall by the offensive staff imo.

Still have high hopes for him, but today was a mess.

And it goes without saying, but way more Adkins and way less TJ/Powell please.

I agree 100%. Was surprised to see almost 0 screens in the 1st half despite the rush they were getting on Wood. Powell just isn't a full time RB but he can be a great short-yardage guy.

Adkins did get the bulk of the carries today and averaged 7 yds a carry so I think we will be seeing more of him.

Really hated the delayed run today. The team isn't expected to win so why not go all in? Reminds me of John Fox granted the Buffs aren't near the Broncos but let them run quit trying to throttle down.

Agree with the post. Watched the first half and don't remember seeing the pistol much. Nothing to get the ball out quickly with the bad protection. Poor job Lindgren, but I'm keepin the faith.

To be fair to Lindgren, I don't think he expected the OL or QB play he got today. Combine that with the weather and I think Bill Walsh would've had trouble establishing an offensive rhythm.

That said, I think he kept hoping the offense was just dazed and it'd get it's sh*t together eventually, but it never did and he never adjusted his gameplan.

Yeah, I don't think it would've made any difference as poorly as the o-line played, but it's tough to watch those wasted third down draw plays without even taking a shot down field. I'd rather see a jumpball to Richardson in those situations. Even if it's picked, it's not much different than a punt.

Weather wasn't that bad. Was an upwind-down wind scenario going but we couldn't take advantage in the second and third quarters. Not a legitimate excuse.

Can't wait until we lose to USC and Utah in the snow. "Teh weather omgz!"

What about ASU? "Teh heat omgz"

He's not helped by this talent, but let's not pretend it was a well called game. The personnel packages were complete horse****.

Play calling was just atrocious first half. We don't need to reinvent the wheel when we have a good thing going. Oline and wood never had a chance to get into a rhythm
