Linebacker speed . Little other d talk

Trump's Eunuch

Drew Lewis can flat out run. Great to see true freshman making (multiple) good plays. Our entire lbs corps look very good, hopefully they can play consistent every game.

Imo our d line looks like they can be just as good, if not, very respectable to last year's line.

IMO Nick fisher needs to be out there instead of Moeller. Any one else?

Wasn't Fischer injured?

I like what Moeller brings. He isn't great in coverage but he is good and he can be like another LB against the run.

Moeller is also a guy who plays with a lot of heart, also plays with his head making good decisions, and is a leader.

Not diminishing Fischer at all because he is a solid player for us but I'd be careful about calling for putting Moeller on the bench.

I like Moeller as a Buff backer. I don't like him at safety. The guy who has to be on the field, though, is Worthington. And it seems like he's the backup at every spot in the secondary instead of being a starter.

And isn't Lewis a Jr?

Fisher is a junior. Lewis is a junior.

Think he was referring to Sparaco, Callier and Van Diest all flashing as true frosh on Friday.
Ahhhh did not gleen that on first read.

Callier looked excellent, I hope he keeps it up.

Gamboa played very, very well. He was as advertised, always in the right spot. Lewis flashed, has good pass rush skills, but got caught a few times missing an assignment.

Moeller is incredibly versatile, but I concur with 'Nik, he's not our best safety out there. I doubt we see him deep again once Fisher is healthy. And Worthington was definitely flashing. Kid will be very good by conference play.

Gamboa being smart and steady makes it easier to let a guy like Lewis take his chances to make big plays.

Wasn't it Gamboa that just trucked Dawkins en route to pressuring Stevens into a poor throw Friday night? Ran the kid right over.

That was a favorite moment of mine.
