Logan Gray

I noticed Logan Gray make a few tough catches in practice on Friday. In Coach Embree's media day interview, he noted that Logan Gray has a good role and skill set to be used in the Buffs system. I am curious to see how much playing time Logan gets and what that special role is for the Buffs. Any thoughts on how much you think he will get to see the field?

I think Embree is truly going to play the best players. Gray is athletic, fast and has quite a few years of experience. He should definitely play some special teams and should see some action at WR, unless he doesn't play like he practices.

Agreed. Coach Embree definitely seems like he will be playing the best athletes on the field. As you said, with Gray's experience and speed I think he will see the field quite a bit.

Gray should be our 3rd WR when the season starts. We'll use him a lot, I would think. I'm kind of surprised that we haven't seen him among the punt returners, but that may be a matter of the coaches wanting him to focus at WR.

Very true. I was a bit surprised that he wasn't working with the PR's too. But as you said, the coaching staff probably doesn't want him to feel overwhelmed when learning a new system. I was thinking the 3rd WR as well. Clemons, Richardson, and Gray..not too shabby.
