The Maji Man had some very unconventional methods to coaching a team but he got results.

Donko has his own unconventional methods and talks about national championships and the like and never gets results. Before long players at CU are going to start with statements about how God wanted your team to win and not your opponent.

I don't want to keep bringing the Holy War into this. That thing we used to have with Provo State is a thing of the past. We'll be playing Big10 teams each year and have nowhere near the room as far as scheduling goes to accomodate yBu. We won't be scheduling BYU with any sort of regularity in the future.

We'll be reaping benefits from modern football facilities and a Pac-12 recruiting edge that we didn't have before. You won't see top Utah players like Cooper Bateman who committed to Alabama, or Xavier Su'a-Filo leaving state to play for other programs.
