Ohsh Nossh, Wasth aaw we gwoing to doush wishout hish eshpert awnawlishish.

My wife always cracks me up with her Lou Holtz...reads all the billboards...laughing so hard can't hardly drive.

Mealy mouth won his only MNC against us. I have nothing but ill will towards him.

I wish he'd take his wife, Mark May, with him.

I may be mistaken but didn't May already announce he was leaving the broadcast.

Problem is that we all know the history of ESPN. Just when we think things can't get worse they figure out how. Watch us end up with Craig James on that show along with some Whorns or SEC shill.

Watch Dan Hawkins takes his place....

Poor Lou. He seems like everyone's favorite granddad. I hate to see him get mocked, but he probably should have quit a few years ago. One thing I learned from Lou: never give your team bulletin board material and take every game seriously. Even when he was at Notre Dame and about to ****house Navy by 40 points, he always gave pre-game interviews about how the Irish had a tough matchup and talked about how good the other team was and how his guys had a fight on their hands.

I hope I don't end up being a former celebrity announcer that keeps getting a paycheck for TV appearances well past my prime. Tough crowd!

I believe that has not happened as of yet. But, I may be wrong. I couldn't find anything on him announcing he was leaving. Would be great, but if it's Hawkins then it goes from unbearable to that plus erasing ESPN off my TV.

I don't think it would be Hawkins. We hate him but nobody else does that much. ESPN and the rest of the networks like people who draw strong emotions. They would like someone who people love but are fine with having somebody people hate as long as they hate them enough to keep watching.

Now if they replaced him with a recently retired Steve Spurrier, that would make for some enjoyable TV.

I'm actually bummed by this news. I was pretty sure we were going to get to see Lou's dentures come flying right out of his mouth one day. The more excited he gets, the closer they come to exiting his scull.
