- For some Colorado players, a visit to Hawaii is a homecoming. The numbers tell a clear story: The Buffs' offense has been bad.
- Oregon-LSU: A great matchup with plenty of sideshows, including a reappearance of Sideshow Willie. Some interesting lineup issues that coach Chip Kelly isn't talking about. The critical battle: The Ducks' offensive line vs. LSU's defensive line.
- Like many Oregon State players, receiver Markus Wheaton is hurt. Unlike most of them, he'll play Saturday. A couple of true freshmen will make history for the Beavers.
