DBT, of the many good battles I've enjoyed with you, I am somewhat sad that we're on the same page here. Yesterday in Chat, LtCol gave me his reason that RESIGN is the best option. I still disagree, but I completely understand his reason and am saddened, even more, that he might have the correct reason. I still think FIRING is the best option for both Embree's better future and Bohn's athletic department future.
Those points aside, we all saw a first-half of total incompetence. One team out-badding the other team. "Who can be the worst team?" seemed to be on display, possession after possession. It was so reminiscent of the Wash State game, too - "Who's going to have the superior Losing Effort?" And we knew Embree was going to do his best to lose. He tried - but Leach out-coached him up there.
This time, we knew that even a poor QB demonstration by UW's Price couldn't stop Embree from getting his losing efforts all lined up. Again, we just had to wait until his halftime adjustments kicked in before the opponent would once again score a lot of points.
Those halftime adjustments - what a great demonstration of what a staff can do. Can strip away.
Alumni coaches - don't forget the embarrassment that Gundy provided to Stillwater fans, too. And he's got a few more outbursts awaiting.
