...

SCOUTING THE COUGARS: Washington State has a very respectable 12-4 record (1-3 Pac-12) entering the weekend. The Cougars only lost once during the non-conference slate (Baylor, 3-2, on August 31) and have lost three matches during Pac-12 play to ranked opponents....

SCOUTING THE HUSKIES: Washington is 13-2 (3-1 Pac-12) is ranked ninth in the latest AVCA Coaches Poll. The Huskies only losses have been against ranked teams; they lost 3-1 to then-No. 9 Creighton and just suffered a loss at then-No. 20 USC (3-0) on Oct. 1. ...

Live Stats-

Vs. Washington - http://stats.statbroadcast.com/broadcast/?id=180237

Match beginning. (I probably will not be able to provide updates.)

From live stats, looks like the normal line-up.

Was expecting a more competitive match, especially with a Cougar player injured. On to Washington.

Buffs VB seems to have a real problem playing on the road in conference matches. They need to get that turned around.

Buffs lose the 1st set in OT- 24-26 (after peaking at a 21-18 lead pretty late).
(This one was all about the block, as it seems like 1/2 of Washington's points were off the block, while the Buffs didn't get their 1st until late in the 1st, while multipe other CU blocks were tooled multiple times for more dawg points.)

Buffs with another close loss in set 2- this time 22-25. (Going to need a big comeback tonight to get the W, which could be tough against a talented udub team the Buffs have never beaten in Seattle.)

And the final set got ugly, and CU gets swept after a 14-25 3rd set to the #9 Huskies.

Just need to shake this weekend off as they next go to the desert to face a couple of the (rare) non-ranked (although still dangerous) Pac teams next weekend.
