Not sure anyone would have given the Buffs much of a chance to win in Seattle before the season started, and events since then haven't done anything to change that. The Huskies already won in Boulder last month and are a perfect 13-0 at home this season. Their 2-3 zone may be painfully boring to watch but they execute it well. On Wednesday night vs. Utah they held the Utes to 18 2nd half points on 5-20 shooting, and 3 of those shots were in the last 2 minutes during garbage time. The Utes had 2 points off of 2 free throws during the first 11 minutes of the 2nd half... that's it. Exactly the kind of defense that can shut down a streaky shooting team like the Buffs.

But....

We can count on the Buffs ignoring pessimists such as myself and giving the Huskies everything they've got. To win they're gonna need to hit the 3-ball at a good clip, likely from NBA range considering Washington's perimeter D, beat the Huskies on the boards, create a lot of turnovers while limiting their own, don't miss layups whether contested or not, make the small amount of free throws the Pac-12 reffing crew sees fit to give them, etc., etc.

GO BUFFS!!!!!!

Evan starting instead of Lucas.
Hopefully that's good for both of them. Lucas is so close, yet so far, to being a really effective player. When he's on, he shoots and passes well, when he's off he disappears on the glass, makes frustrating turnovers, and the shot gets rattled too.

I’ve got a bad feeling about this one already. They’re letting them play...except Evan, so Washington is just beating the **** out of us when we attack the basket.

I just had some ugly ugly flashbacks on that Tyler Bey dunk. Something about ****ing Seattle.

Dominated the boards early, otherwise this would be a runaway. It didn't hurt that Thybulle and Dickerson sat with fouls, that won't be the case in the 2nd half.

Even though he got schooled on that spin move, I really like the way Parquet was guarding Crisp.

Hint, when in the post, just go to the hoop, don't dribble or you'll just get it stripped every time.

Imagine if Tad"s game plan is D and rebounding, maybe he should recruit players like Thybuile who are good atx you know, D

Thybulle is a really tremendous defensive player... but pac 12 refs given him about 3 or 4 calls that are fouls on anyone else in the league.

wow...Thybulle really is a joy to watch, even if playing for the other team.

SERIOUSLY! Why can't he recruit guys like Bey...I mean Thybulle! I mean, guys that were ranked in the 100s that develop like Thybulle are probably easy to find...
