MBB Picked 3rd in Pac-12

This is funny to me. Our team only got older and gained experience. Somehow, Utah jumps us. After we finished 3rd last year and lost essentially, nobody.

They may have the best PG in the nation next year and we all saw last year what a dominant PG can do come tourney time. With their schedule, we will find out very quickly if Utah is legit or not.

I know how good Delon Wright is. Who did they add?

EDIT: another JUCO from CCSF Bealer, a rivals top 150 frosh PF and another 3*

So how good is Bealer? We are going to finish 2nd. These writers are stoops.

Someone who knows basketball recruiting better than I can answer who they brought in, but they return 4 of 5 starters.
 
I love how UCLA had huge losses, had like 2 kids they recruited not get admitted to school/join the team, and still got a first place vote.

I also think that a lot of people are forgetting that utah had some marquee wins last year. Their non-con was a total dog (vs the likes of evergreen state, Grand canyon and lamar) but once conf play got geared up, they took #10 oregon to OT, beat UCLA at home, took us to OT in the keg, took zona to OT at home (Then got absolutely pounded by zona in the p12 tourney).

All in all, they did pretty well in p12 and didnt lose much in terms of contributors. Is the love deserved? We will see, they have a tough non-con this year, littered with the likes of SDSU, Witchita St, KU, UNLV and an away game for "the holy war"

How does getting into OT = win? We also returned 5 starters. They have a good coach, ours is better. I just don't see how they could be perceived as better than us in other people's eyes. Oh well, we'll just prove ourselves, again. Actually, we should use it as motivation.

My point was that they played people very tough, probably tougher than people remember.

That said, look at the point counts, it was essentially a tie (317-316)

Welcome back kitty cat. Hope you have a great start to your season, rep the Pac-12 well in the OOC. Hope you win your first 14 before the buffs come to town. Would love to visit McKale but game on a thursday, makes travel a pain in the ass to get to Tucson.
