not to mention cost. figure 120 people travel with the team. at 2/room, that's 60 rooms. In the Bay Area, I'm guessing $120/night is a good rate with some negotiation work. We're in the neighborhood of $14k saved by bringing the team back tonight.

I'll bet the players would just like to get back, win or lose. They have finals coming up, and a bit of a football break before gearing up for whatever bowl game they are in. Just get home, no matter what.
