Metro State can come up with $12 million and CU does not have enough money for decent coaches?

You have to realize the big difference is that with our move to the Pac 12 we only have $20 million in annual revenue share with the conference. How in the world could you expect us to pay real money for a capable BCS Head Coach when Arizona, UCLA and WSU recently showed that you can't hire anyone with those budgets.

They don't want to put the money out there and then cry about how much money they don't have. I'll guarantee there's enough money to build the facilities and hire a quality coach. I assume a lot of it is political BS.

CU now has enough to pay for decent coaches, when Embree was hired not so much with the buyout fee and no conference revenue. If I remember correctly Hawkins was paid decently and Barnett was paid better than Hawkins.
