Michael K's Wazzu preview is up in the news room

Thanks. I didn't realize "homecoming" was going to be staged this weekend in Pullman, or that Wash State fans would think of being bowl-eligible with a vastly different offensive system in its first year. I thought Leach would have only considered this a learning season only.

Normally I would agree, however :

1. This was already a very good passing team he came into with solid QB's in the system, and his O is not hard to learn, hard to master, but not complex.
2. The Cougs won 4 last year with less, and should have taken a couple more.
3. Leach will ALWAYS expect a bowl game.
4. The front 7 on D has actually been pretty good, the secondary which was supposed to be ok has sucked.
