they have central fla. next. slightly better tuneup for them than idaho state for us. after us, they have pedo state, so maybe we will catch them looking ahead slightly to their first conf game? maybe?

harbaugh is becoming a caricature of himself. i will dream of a near-silent big house as time expires and a handful of loyal Buff fans sing the fight song to celebrate the upset. yeah, i know, unlikely... but, maybe..

in the meantime, stomp idaho state. with extreme violence and an exclamation point.

Michigan will be bigger and faster than CSU. They will want to establish the run. Our D-line/front seven looked good but will get a true test. I don't want to see QB deigned runs as a staple of our offense against UM but I acknowledge it has become just that.

I've never understood this mentality from fans. Players and coaches, I obviously understand, but it's pretty strange to "take it one game at a time" as a fan, as if us talking more about Michigan than Idaho State will somehow impact how the team/coaches prepare.

I agree. That said, I'm on board with focus on each week. I think it's because there are so many unknowns with this team that I can't predict ahead very well. So I want to see them win, improve and stay healthy... then we march on.

I agree. Players should have a diff mentality than fans. I'm looking fwd to seeing Montez sling it Saturday.

We aren't that far removed from losing to Sacramento State.

Until this team proves that it can overlook teams and still dominate games we need to focus on the week at hand.

Exactly. We're fans. We can look forward to Nebraska in 2023 if we want. It doesn't affect how the team gets ready for Idaho State.

We lost to Sac State because our team sucked not because we overlooked them.

It was some of both.

This is a different team but the point still stands. Until they prove otherwise this team can't afford to take anyone for granted. This game shouldn't be close but I don't want to see a lackluster showing. A team that hasn't won 5 games in a season since ? can't overlook anyone.

Unfortunately, Michigan will be bigger and faster than CU as well.

I "liked" this TSchekler post. Does that mean my dick is going to fall off, or something?

i'm looking ahead and no one can stop me! i am en fuego, beeeeeeeetches.

kidding aside, i would utterly shocked and dismayed if somehow the Buffs don't find a way to pound idaho state into the turf. i am excited to see them go 2-0. michigan really is a a great early season test. you saw what 'bama did to usc. and michigan is closer in talent and coaching to the tide than we are close to usc in talent. i believe we may have a better coaching staff than usc so maybe we can play a top 5 team better than usc did.

oh, and if there are any players reading this thread, go away. lol. shouldn't you be (a) in class or (b) in bed or (c) in the weight room or (d) at practice or (e) studying film and the gameplan or (f) doing homework or (g) eating?

our Buffs are dialed in. we may lose a lot of games but if they come out with the intensity they showed in the first half against the sheep, there is no way we lose to idaho state.

The team is dialed in on Idaho St. Nobody is talking about michigan no matter how much the media presses.

I am looking forward to Michigan because a) ISU should be a snoozer and b) I am going to be in Ann Arbor.

If the same disciplined team that showed up in Denver can travel to Ann Arbor while cutting out the stupid fumbles, we have a good shot at the Wolverines.

I didn't know you were part of the coaching staff...

The key will be stopping the run.
if our secondary plays as well as they can, and we can stuff the run, we are in this game.
if we cannot stop the run, it will be a long afternoon.

Big difference with this year's team is that the players will expect to win at Michigan. Win the turnover battle and complete red zone drives... and I believe they can do it. Can't see how it happens if we're minus on turnovers and finishing good drives with field goals, though.

CU's offense should have had another 2 TD's. Sefo had a couple ducks down in the redzone.

that preview was from June.

Also, i'm constantly amazed at how crappy most of these little college message boards are. That place makes Ramnation look cutting edge
