He has shown no ability to get this done as a defensive coordinator. He's already been relieved of his position coaching duties when we brought in the Emperor from Star Wars for the staff this year.* He hardly participates in recruiting and I can't think of a single prospect that has named Ron Collins as recruiting him or the reason he came to CU.
Promote Brown or Cabral to DC. That opens up a spot to either make Jashon our LB coach or Ambrose our DB coach. It would be a boon to recruiting having either of those guys on the trail. It would also show Hawk and the fans that you mean business when it comes to getting this thing fixed and not accepting excuses.
