The team only won 4 games in two years, they didn't win a single home game this year, and the team was not competitive in most games over the past 2 seasons. There have been numerous bad losses, and recruiting is not where we expected. The performance is not acceptable for what we want from the football program, and it was having a significant impact on ticket sales, donations, and the CU brand overall. It didn't appear to be going in the direction we want it to go within 2 years. We expect more, and we're going to look for someone who can deliver more for us as we get the football team back on track."
