Mike Iltis leaves CU Buffs football team

furk. Whatever the reason for it, good luck Ilitis. Hope you get that degree and succeed in whatever you choose to pursue post CU football!

Damn, those ACL tears are killer. Best of luck to Mike, he was a good player for us whenever his knee cooperated.

Now, turning back to the issue of depth at center we have Daniels, who's had enough injury issues himself and unproven guys behind that. Articles mentioning Munyer as the next guy. Are Handler and Alex Kelley still in the mix for this position?
 
Thanks for everything Mike.

It seemed like last season he was really fighting through a lot of discomfort with his legs, getting hurt again near the end of the year just topped it off. Iltis is a tough guy and if he could do a fair job of it he would be out there, his leg must not be responding the way he had hoped. I hope he is able to get it back into good enough shape that it doesn't bother him the rest of his life.

I am sure Handler will get a look. They may be looking to redshirt Kelley unless an emergency situation arises, but you never know.

Munyer-Daniels-Handler for 2011. Agree on RS for Kelley that would set us up really nicely with Handler, Munyer, and Kelley all one year apart from each other.
 
Boo to this news. Except for the excerpt at the end, that we got a new center for '11.
