Misplaced Anger

I think the anger towards CU firing Embree is very misplaced. We should be a lot more angry at CU for hiring him in the first place.

Embree wasn't ready. There is a chance that he could have been an exceptional head coach one day but CU has screwed him over in that regard. It is like giving a 12 year old the keys to a car, albeit it a beaten up car, but then getting mad at the parents for taking away the keys after they get in an accident. That 12 year old shouldn't have been driving in the first place.

I agree completely and is why this situation has kind of eaten me up inside....I feel terribly for the guy personally and REALLY REALLY wanted it to work out, but think it was the right thing to move on

I am pretty down right now as a fan and for the players and the team....This program needs some sort of hire to galvenize the fan base...this was step 1, but need the big Step 2 much more so

Me too. I am so glad the decision was made yet I'm not happy. I actually started disliking Embree and EB almost as much as HaLk. That's not cool.

The one constant during CU football's descent into the abyss over the past decade is Dave Logan. He should have never put Embree in a position to fail.
