I haven't seen an article, but several twitter things suggest the freshman tore her acl. Can anyone confirm? If so, a blow to the team, I think all the freshmen were going to be getting minutes this year.
And I just realized it out Burch instead of Burich. I blame android.
 
I went to twitter and looked. Sadly, it appears this is true. Monica sent out a tweet herself.
 
Lappe sent out a newsletter last night and Monica is not mentioned. Monica did attend the annual One on One event and her knee was wrapped--or it may have been a brace.
