Morale Booster

Can't wait to see this kid on the field. Scooter and a (hopefully) solid OL should really turn Speedy into the next MJD.

I have to say, Speedy is my current favorite buff. Great work ethic and has some amazing talent. Cant wait to see him burn up the Pac-12
 
Naw man he sucks. He only had offers from CU, Akron, EMU, and Toledo and was only a 5.2 2*!
 
i love speedy but we need some guy who puts his head in the pile and gets you that 3 yards every time.

Little dude is strong. I'd like to think he'll be pushing a few scrums when EB is done with him.

Speedy is a good back. Only LMJ and Chris Polk had more yards rushing than him last year from teams in our new conference.
 
Dave Plati in his recent Plati-tudes bemoaned about how opposing Big 12 coaches kept Speedy off the All Big 12 teams last season.

He made a compelling argument. With the evidence Dave presented, there was no way but to view Speedy's absence as anything but a snub.
 
Gotta love me my 5'7" guys (I'm 5'7") that bring it. That said, if he wants a legit shot at the NFL he needs to pack on more weight. The guy is stronger than hell, but shorter backs need to also weigh around 190lbs or so. 15lbs and he'll be quite nasty.
 
he needs to polish his receiving skills. If he does, he can be a lethal third down back at the next level.
