Has to be that combo after NU.
Are there injuries involved in this, or is this best players play?
Depth Chart did not reflect the starters that walked out.
I am not complaining, there have been many decisions as of late that are making me happy about where we are headed! The Landman decision was solid, and hope folks saw Miller starting at CB!!!
I am also wondering about Akil Jones getting more playing time? Gamboa had a nice pick, but he was badly out of position on two QB runs, where he started running with the crossing route and left his space open to the QB that flushed himself out and made good yardage. With his speed, that is where his brain is supposed to be sharp, and he made bad choices. Cannot do that against Tate and Arizona for instance.

hard to tell...we played 80 guys
This has to be the lineup going forward. Wouldn't be surprised if Moretti is still on a pitch count for a while, but it is night and day when Sherman is in.
Sherman still learning how to play tackle at this level but he is a big step up athletically. Moretti looks like he is still limited in moving laterally but he is a huge step up athletically from Tonz.
I gotta believe Moretti can help Sherman on left side.
The combination makes us stronger and more athletic on that side.
I still think that when Moretti gets his injury fully rehabbed he is likely to end up at tackle but those two are a much better combination physically than we have had for awhile.
