My First Buffs Game

Hey all,

UConn fan here from CT. I came out to Denver/Boulder for my bachelor party this past weekend and saw CU take on ASU. Can’t say enough good things about the environment. Your stadium has to be the most beautiful in all of sports, and you’ve got a darn good team this year. That WR #2 is a stud and Montez can sling it.

My Huskies are possibly the worst team in college football this year and after watching CU, I’m adopting them as my team for at least this year. Thanks to CU fans for a great experience on Saturday and I hope you guys can keep winning out and don’t mind adopting a fan for the year! Go Buffs

Came to an unseasonably cool game, but I am glad the stadium was as packed as it was. You picked a time to check out the program.

A couple things you need to know if you are going to adopt CU as your team:

1) helicopters fly themselves.
2) **** bailer
3) **** Nebraska
4) helicopters fly themselves

Ok, that’s about it for the training. You’re good to go. Welcome!

Took my Tennessee alum girlfriend to Folsom for the first time Saturday......and she's hooked as well. Being good made it that much more fun.

My Alma mater’s defense is giving up like 54 points per game and loses by an average margin of over 30 each week. I was elated to finally watch a close game

Blow me!

Welcome. Get me a ****ing sammich, bitch!

Be careful, he adopted the Buffs... not all AB

Yep. Hell, I jumped on the bandwagon in 1990 and randomly moved to Boulder in '98. Be careful what you wish for, guys. Today's media has a lot more reach than it did back then. :ROFLMAO:
Wait, what's the actual BuffNik fandom story? I feel like this is some piece of AllBuffs history that I need to know.

I saw your Huskies play in the Carrier Dome a few weeks ago. Your quarterback is good, he deserves better players around him.

Yeah, he’s really fast and has a pretty accurate arm. He’s one of few FBS level talents we have.

The majority of UConn fans are actually calling to shut down the program. We got killed in realignment and lots of us want to drop football so we can play basketball in the Big East. I disagreed with that idea for a while, but I’m starting to come around to it. We’ve been one of the worst teams in college football for quite a while now

It’s tough to play football at a basketball school, but it can be done. Louisville, Duke, Syracuse and to a lesser extent UCLA and Arizona have all had some football success over the years. Those schools are in major conferences, though. That hasn’t helped Kansas and Indiana one bit. Kentucky is having a good year this year, but us historically wretched.

I could see you guys being like Nova and dropping back down in football. Big East hoops would be sick if you guys were back in the conference. UMass should do the same and make it 12 teams.

UCONN fans had to deal with annoying Nebraska fans after they hired Diaco. You guys tried to tell them, but they wouldn’t listen. Basically, what I’m saying is, welcome and:
