He woke me up to say goodbye and his bags were already packed. He didn’t want to wake our boys and said he told them his goodbyes before they went to bed last night.

Now I am facing my first NYE without him since we met. I could get mad and cry about it but I have our two little guys to focus on today.

Of course, I am also just a tad jealous of the whole situation. I mean, the Pac12 has the tie-in to the Rose Bowl, yet he is getting to see his team play there before I get to see the Buffs in the grand-daddy of them all. It really is unfair!

Can’t wait to hear all about it when he gets back on Tuesday. (y) Go Dawgs! Sic ‘em!

I only asked because of a sporting event my son went to when he was little. Lol, the crowd scared him pretty good.

For what? He's coming back Tuesday. The Buffs umm yeah I know peckerwood. Too damn early to be picking on me lol.

Tragic set of circumstances with the Buffs not playing in the game before some outside conference lackey team gets to appear. Long cold couple of nights until you have to welcome him back. Not necessarily with open arms but depending on the outcome, maybe a bottle of ripple or a 6 pack of schlitz. You can pick based on who wins and loses.

Not since I was still playing. Always thought a jock was weird anyway. Underwear with the ass part missing. You could put liquid heat in any kind of underwear, teach him a lesson. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

Time to rearrange the furniture, hang new pictures in his man cave, get a haircut, and kill a few pints of Ben & Jerry’s.

We could form a support group, my wife is a UGA alum and we are going to the game. I told her yesterday that while I was happy for her team I never thought in a million years the dawgs would make it to the rose bowl before the buffs. She was unapologetic.

The key difference, of couse, being that you're going to the game with your spouse.

Have a blast!

Jealous that you are going, @atlbuff. Hard for us to find help to watch our kids over New Years and honestly, although I root for the Dawgs when they aren’t playing the Buffs, this means way more to him. Plus, this means I get to hold it over his head (which you all know is the best part of marriage manipulation ). Really only annoyed by the fact that by the time the Buffs are there, my kids will be old enough to want to go with me.

Go Dawgs!

i suggest a commemorative permanent tat: an image of Ralphie with "2017 NYE" above it. also, maybe some flames to circle it, mostly because i like flames. i'd put the tat somewhere he will be reminded of his error during intimate moments.

you can never go wrong with a revenge tat. it is like a law of nature or something.

Sorry meant the support group for those whose S/O’s team is going to the rose bowl when our buff’s should have made it first. Unfortunately my wife knows our history well. I started dating her in 2003 so I spent many years trying to convince her we were good at one time. So when I told her it was BS that her team made it there first she said something to the effect of Hawkins/ Embree. It cut deep.

Just throw it back at her (for the next week at least) that we have a national title and a Heisman more recently than they do. And we have scoreboard (almost 2x if Mason hadn’t missed that FG).

And my husband and I are old enough that he remembers the Buffs teams of the 90s (my college years).

Telling you, liquid heat in his underwear. He'll never do it again. That tat idea isn't a bad one though.
