Naming A Dog With A CU Spin

so we are getting a new dog- :thumbsup:

the breeder needs us to come up with an AKC name (one that's registered with the AKC) that has a sports theme...
this is not the 'call name' which for example could be Spot, Rover ... whatever..

the breeder is known as 'de la Tierra' so for example one of the owners of another dog being purchased has come up with ...

"de la Tierra Parseghian's Princess" as they are Notre Dame fans :puke:

my sister's dog is called "de la Tierra Orange Crush"

I'm looking at help coming up with a name that is either CU related or baseball related (my wife may be onboard with the baseball one)

please nothing crass or dirty ...

we aren't showing the dog or breeding it .... after the registration I doubt the name comes up too often but it will be added to the history of the dog and it's blood lines-

We had the best dog in the world. Boulder. His name fit him perfect. Boulder loved the mountains, hiking, playing in mountain streams/lakes. Like I said, Boulder was the greatest dog on earth. This last December Boulder breathed his last breath 2 days before Christmas he was right at 14.

We miss you Boulder.

I'll second de la Tierra Ralphie.

Had two Westies. Persistent, confident, curious and tough. The least hyper and most focused of the terriers. Cousin to the Cairns.

Why not meet the two interests? de la Tierra Pritchard Cooper.

It has a ring to it that reminds me of the Life of Pi. "NO Richard Parker!" I have a feeling that dog will be told no quite a bit.
