NCAA Round of 32 - Day 2

I'm hanging on by a thread for my bracket to still be relevant after today. Ohio State is that thread.

Can't believe the Iowa State defender gave that much ground. Clutch shot by that Ohio State kid.

Hoiberg is the opposite of Tad Boyle. Great offensive coach, but defensively his team's haven't been very good. Dunno if there's another team with more losses with 70+ points scored.

Just like Altman, Hoiberg exploits the transfer market and gets a ton of transfers. How many are on this team? I think four guys that are seniors.

I believe it is a lot easier to coach up juniors/seniors than true frosh due to three years playing against D1 competition. Not to take away anything that Hoiberg accomplished, but I'm more impressed by Boyle taking a team of 2 frosh, 2 sophs and 1 junior to the tourney than a team filled with JC and transfers. Altman's team is dominated by JCs and transfers (and Kazemi didn't even have to sit out a year!).

Unless Iowa State is bringing in a bunch of transfers next year, I can see them dropping off. 5/8 top guys are leaving. Good game against Ohio State though.

Congrats to Iowa State for putting together a nice season and playing tOSU close. A win would have been nice, but upsets are hardly ever automatic.

Clutch shot by Kraft. I wish they would fix the block, charge rule. I've seen some crappy ones all year long. That game was probably the best I've seen yet.

KU has stormed back and really putting it to UNC with 5:15 left. Up by 13. KU must love giving it to good ole Roy

Looked like UNC was going to win this one easily, another KU collapse in the tourney with a #1 seed. Instead it was UNC that fell apart and KU got it back together.

Other than when they played us in the old league I never had an issue with KU, kind of pulled for them a little bit. Same wit hUNC who has always done a lot of things right.

I am looking forward to the day when people hate CU because of our success.

Watching Roy cry after every call that doesn't go his way is priceless

Not to mention the on-air report that Roy wasn't "real happy" with having to play KU in their backyard.

Given the placement of UNC over the past several years (Greensboro, Charlotte, etc.) the irony is simply priceless.

What he fails to realize is that the intent of the pod system is to allow top-4 seeds to play close to home wherever possible, which is exactly why UNC got to play in Greensboro and Charlotte the last 2 years. So like you said he shouldn't be complaining when KU, a 1-seed, gets to play in KC. Louisville played in Lexington, Ohio State and IU played in Dayton, and Michigan and MSU played in Detroit. I don't like the system but that's how it is set up.

Now on the other hand, Cal getting to play in San Jose as a 12-seed was total BS, especially with that rabid Cal fanbase.

Nice job KU! If it wasn't for KU's ridiculously high number of turnovers this game would've been a real blowout.

UNC didnt beat a team this season which won a Round of 64 game in the NCAA Tournament (0-8 vs Butler, Duke, Indiana, Kansas, Miami)

Florida Gulf Coast seeking to become the first 15 seed to ever advance to the Sweet 16. They're up by 2 with 14 minutes left.

Broadcast has probably mentioned it 300 times by now, but Florida Gulf Coast admitted its first student in 1997.

If any of you had FGCU in the Sweet 16 in your bracket, I think you should get an auto-win of the AB bracket challenge this year.

I'm loving this team.
