Nebraska Guard Dismissed

That helps. Nebraska's bench keeps getting shorter.

They also had a decent forward leave the team in mid-December.
 
On the subject of players leaving the team, Freddy Asprilla Left K State earlier this week

Hurts their front line depth, but Freddy was coming off the bench and playing less and less. He had been giving them about 4 and 4 a night. I don't think he even played against us. Word is that KSU's Coach Martin rode him really hard and by the end of Christmas break this relationship wasn't going to be salvaged. The player is back in Europe, I think, trying to land a pro job.

The official excuse I keep hearing is that his mother is ill and he's going to Colombia, where he's from, to try to play pro hoops there...I didn't even know Colombia had a pro basketball league....
 
Asparilla played against us. had a dunk on a put-back. with Kelly back, and Judge....Asparilla wasn't going to be much of a factor. the announcers on Sat. said he left the team for a baseball opportunity. ?.

he did had a dunk and a blocked shot at least
