There will be another one probably after spring ball and in the Fall but I thought it would be interesting to hear what ABers think about the 2015 future in light of our new hires and the 2015 class being signed.

Keep in mind we have 13 games this year, predict # wins. And for those of you (like Duff) who will criticize this as a useless thread please just drive on by.

I voted for 6 which leaves us just short of a bowl game in 2015 but a huge improvement over 2014 and real momentum to get a small but high impact class for 2016.

I may be too optimistic but looking at the number of games we were highly competitive in last year, combined with a much more mature team and a stellar DC overseeing an improvement hopefully similar to what we see on the offensive side last year, 6 seems doable.

Extremely optimistic results and everything would have to go perfectly for this to occur.

Like that bullish response. Would get us into a bowl. If I had to predict which teams we beat, here you go:
Hawaii, UMASS, CSU, Nicholls St, WSU, Utah

We have to win a conference home game. Have to. UofA is our best shot.

5 wins is the absolute minimum this year though.

I voted 5 wins. I could see 4-6 as realistic possibilities. For the record I voted 4 wins for last year so maybe I am too optimistic. Here is my 6 win view point.

I will K-aid at 6 wins. It is that darn opening game that I do not relish. Rather start at mile high with the goats, than start with the R-bows on their home turf. But gotta playem as they lay. Beat the Rainbows, and beat at least one of the big guys at home, things could get interesting.... Maybe karma gives us a bounce or two in 2015. Would be most appreciated!

Went with 7. Optimism high right now. We're gonna be better than average next year and finally have a bit of luck. Go Buffs!

What the hell, 8 wins this year. Seven - including Stanford at home - with a bowl win.

I don't get back enough, but this will probably be the first year I buy season tickets in a few years. Go Buffs!

The really hard thing this year is that not only do they need to learn how to win, the best opportunities for conference wins (based on relative talent) are on the road this season. It's also a 5-away conference year. Our Buffs need to grow up fast. If they do, those road wins happen while the home field advantage gives opportunities to pull some significant upsets.

6 or 7 wins but optimism says 7. I don't know who the opponent will be for our bowl or I may have said 8. 7-6 regular seasons.

We start 4-0, lose the next 2 Oregon and ASU, beat a ranked Arizona, go punch the Beavs, beat a ****ty coached UCLA team on the road, lose to Stanford and USC, then close out with 2 wins to coaches on their way out in Wazzou and Utah. ****, I just gave us 9 wins. Likely lose to Arizona and UCLA as well, but will need to get some wins in the middle to have a chance at 7. Can't go winless at home in-conference again and I believe Arizona is that team we beat.

I said 5, because although I am stoked about the coaching changes, recruits and returning guys, this is still Colorado and I've been down this road before. I'm looking for the Buffs to sweep the OOC and win one conference game...probably WSU or OSU. Could be 6 if we win both of those.

I'm going with 7. We start out 4-0 and, swoon initially in conference play and then finish strong.

5. Either CU sweeps the OOC and wins a P12, or goes 3-1 OOC and takes two P12. The P12 candidates are WSU, OSU and UU, obviously.

All I know is that if we're 4-0 with Oregon coming to town, there is going to be some epic excitement in Folsom. CAN'T WAIT

This schedule is brutal.
But it's Friday and I feel good. I have faith in 8 wins.
4 non conference. We can't drop the ball against Hawaii. A Hawaii win and we roll through the non conference schedule.
3 Pac 12 wins. Arizona, OSU and Utah.
Then we win our first Bowl game in forever.
Go Buffs.
