Mike Bohn.My company has an EMD (Electronic Message Display) Division and I mentioned to the VP of sales that CU is in need of new video boards. Does anyone know with whom she should be in contact on this matter?
apparently they have been ordered already

You moved to Texas. We ****ing better not buy our video boards from some ****ing Texas company.

reed marks on buff chips last nightWhere are you getting this? The Folsom video boards aren't listed on the closed bid site (http://www.colorado.edu/facilitiesmanagement/pdc/construction/closed.html) and they aren't on the open for bid side either.

unless, say, someone donated the boards...I call BS. If they aren't listed on the link I posted, they haven't even put them out for bid yet and that has stuff going back at least three years. Maybe they are working on it but they are required by law to solicit bids on EVERYTHING and if they've called for bids it would be there. I didn't hear what he said and maybe I missed it somewhere in that list, but without a bid nothing happens.

Rugged, this is your chance to make it up.+1,000,000 swag points to whoever did that
There isn't a "video board" company located in CO. We use mostly Watch Fire product which is based out of Danville, IL. The only other company w/ product as quality as WF is Daktronics and they are based out of South Dakota, but have s**t when it comes to customer service and repair. Perhaps CU has Dak units now and that is why they still have the ugly green line....?!?!
The boards they use now are from a company no longer in business. Not sure what the company was.

Yeah, the company flatlined a few years ago.
So have the boards.
I know CU is seriously considering daktronics for the new displays.

Tini's momEven more reason to go with a product from a company that has been around for a long time and offers unmatched customer service.

I want what OU has but that won't happen.

And now it's funny again for me.
