FYI, The links both just went to the home page. I'm definitely gonna try this though. I need some new shoes and I've been waiting for CU ones for over a year now.

I got my hopes up a bit too soon. I thought you were saying they actually had team shoes with logo and stuff. You should post some pics of what you made though, I think I might try to attempt some customization and it would be nice to have a starting point.

Probably not applicable, but i have seen yellow/gold laces for hockey skates at hockey shops in the past.

helmet/uniform color, not student t-shirt gold. I'm picky...

I think you're mistaken, those are pretty clearly yellow/tshirt gold laces, not gold flake/helmet gold, but whatever. They're your shoes, after all.
