But truthfully ... I sincerely hope people aren't ignoring this game as a "slum dunk." This is one of those no-win scenarios ... we have almost nothing to gain and everything to lose. I'm nervous as hell about this game.

I was at the game with the Condoms in Boulder .. and IIRC we went out to a 20-2 lead early, and never let them get closer than 10 or so after that. That's what we need to do tonight, if only to allow me to minimize my heart meds. :huh:

Way I look at is the games that are quality wins or bad losses have added value because, you want to be in the former category and not in the latter. If we lose to USC, it's stain on our record and possibly will leave us in the Pac-12 with only one road win, which would be a disaster IMO. We need another road win IMO after this.
 
Is ND TRYING to send this game into OT?!? :bang: It should have been over by now.

I was thinking when watching Doug McDermott shoot that he is the first guy that really reminds me of Larry Bird, then they put up a big comparison graphic.

One of the bad things about recruiting athletes instead of big slugs for inside guys is if they are hurt they lose their edge where a slow big slug is stull a slow big slug.

Glad the we are managing to build a lead even with some of the turnovers, looks like we are trying to force the pace.
