Northern Colorado gets an unscheduled bye week before playing Buffs

Hearing that the Pac12 office had the game wiped so that the Bears would be rusty coming into Boulder.

If the flights are cancelled do they still have to pay? Could be a bit of a financial win.

Why cant they make it up? Maybe a double header.

No. They don't have a mutual open date that they can move the game to....so it wasn't possible. UNC got a big win out of this.....They still get their payday. What did we give them for next week-I think 350k and a bunch of tickets they could sell? They gave their season ticket holders tickets for next week as part of their package.

In order to make the game more interesting, particularly NFL, the should announce the game ball type 5 minutes before kick off. Among the various balls that could be used. Medicine, golf, whiffle, maybe even a shuttle cock (not tehnically a ball), yoga stretch ball,

imagine the challenge of field goals with a medicine ball...or the deception of option with a golf ball.

how far could Tom Brady throw a shuttle cock?

Make the games totally entertaining.

Definitely sucks from a scheduling standpoint, but I guarantee every single coach, player, and fan is disappointed big time.

They probably are disappointed. Still being scheduled like this made no sense except financially.

They used to call these bodybag games for a reason. The P5 players are bigger, faster, stronger. The few FCS players who can physically match up get targeted and get beat up as well. The FCS school rarely comes out of one of these games without a couple or more major injuries and a whole list of minor ones.

For a school like UNC which has been down the past few years the results of games against P5 opponents can be devastating. The players lost can ruin their whole season by costing them multiple games.

The money they get from these two games covers a big chunk of the cost of running the program but it has a big cost.
