NHG is the big hit, and we felt that in the bowl game.
He reminded me how important it is to have that force in the middle of the field, great speed or not. Landman wasn’t fast but the team was so much better with him anchoring the middle of the field and shooting gaps. NHG was the first LB since Landman that presented that sort of force.
I think McCoy was set to become great, but probably not worth the bag at this point, and we have a good Edge room.
Hood is the most replaceable to me. I think he would have started and been really good. But Prime can bring in top flight CBs.

Hayes to Texas A&M should say a lot about what other schools thought of him. I thought he was a good all-around DE who likely would have been in the running to start again this season for us. McCoy looked like a future sack master on 3rd and known passing downs. He is only going to get better. Lets hope this years crop of Freshman can progress like he did and make an impact in year 2.
