What happened to the hurry up? IMO that's why the Buffs were so effective last year period. It was not there tonight. We have the same staff in place and Montez who ran it last year but I don't understand why we did not play faster? Maybe saving it?

Went away from it in the 2nd half when the TOP was like 19-11. Needed to shorten the game and rest the defense.
 
I noticed that too, but they said we were snapping the ball every 22 seconds, which is decently fast, but I do know that last year we were capable of 14 seconds.
I have said it over and over that I wish there was an element of motion on every play to allow for some tricky confusion for the Linebackers and Safeties, as well as making sure at least one WR is clean off the line. Never saw a Sweep, and I am just hoping that we were so confident that we shut down the playbook to not show Washington anything?
