First of all, our rushing performance was surprising and awesome. Adkins finally looked like he did near the end of last year. Lindsay looks like he could be the next Speedy Stewart and ToJo looked like the experienced player that he is. Very happy with our RB's Saturday.
The offense leaves little to complain about really, other than the two interceptions. It was probably the most balanced and most complete effort to date. My biggest complaint with the calling was why we refused to run the ball in the 1st OT. We were killing them on the ground and we tried to beat them through the air.
Sefo has to stop locking on to his hot route receiver. It makes it too easy for the defense. 1st INT he followed spruce the entire time and did not see the LB floating underneath. Too easy. 2nd INT he felt the pressure prematurely and did not set his feet properly and airmailed the pass, just a bad throw.
1st INT is a fundamental thing he has to fix, the 2nd was a mistake that just kind of happens sometimes. Bad time for it though.
The end of the 1st half thing was a team screw up. Everyone screwed it up from the coaches to the players. They have to pay better attention.
Disappointing loss. Most disappointing because we are really about 5 mistakes from being 5-3 right now. Just heartbreaking. However that game was maybe the most entertaining game I have been to at Folsom since 2009. Great weather, good crowd, and the students were fantastic. The only thing missing Saturday was the win.
